Why Dick Cavanagh’s Entrepreneurship Portal is so valuable to entrepreneurs, regardless of stage, is that it provides easy access to many of Dicks experiences as a best selling author, a McKinsey consultant, President of The Conference Board, and lectures on entrepreneurship, from anywhere in the world. This includes tips, papers, videos, plus his universe of organizations and successful entrepreneurs. These experiences are as relevant today as they were when he first graduated from the Harvard Business School. That’s because with new ventures nothing really changes except the idea. Each entrepreneur has to learn to survive, and, hopefully, prosper. Dick has “been there, done that,” and so have many other entrepreneurs that Dick knows and that his Portal taps into. His goal is to help more entrepreneurs succeed, create jobs and, maybe, even create new industries, while avoiding some of the classic pitfalls along the way.
