John’s Bio

John is a graduate of Northeastern University’s College of Business Administration and the recipient of many awards including honorary degrees from Northeastern, UMass-Lowell, UMASS- Boston, Suffolk University, and the University Of Ulster, the first such degree that it ever awarded outside of the island of Ireland. This was in recognition of his job creating initiatives in behalf on the peace process in Northern Ireland.

As an entrepreneur he was invited to be a Fellow in the Center for Business and Government, at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. In addition, he was inducted into the Babson College Academy of Distinguished Entrepreneurs and the Infomart’s Information Processing Hall of Fame in Dallas, Texas. He was appointed honorary Economic Counsel to the City of Belfast, Northern Ireland. He was also invited to participate in the Aspen Institute’s Middle East Strategy Group based on his job creating experiences with Ireland and Northern Ireland. In addition, he was Founding Chairman of both the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council and the Boston Public Library Foundation, as well as the first President of the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation.
